Matara French presents herself as a social media personality and community voice. She walks alongside UNC politicians. She reportedly has a job at WASA — the Water and Sewerage Authority — under the current government.
But according to Workers Rights 868, none of that changed what she was allegedly doing in the back streets of Caronage. The drugs. The exploitation. The Venezuelan women.

The broadcast alleges Matara also accepts gold in exchange for drugs from clients who cannot pay cash:

Venezuelan Women: Exploitation at the Bar
The broadcast goes further — alleging that Matara French is exploiting Venezuelan women operating from a bar in Caronage:
"There are some Venezuelan women that she is pimping out. Matara French — and she is under the UNC banner. She is under Kamla and them. Kamla's team gave her a job. So I want to know: why would a Prime Minister even have people like this in their circle?"

A Government Job While Running Criminal Operations?
The allegation of a WASA appointment handed to Matara French by the UNC government is perhaps the most damning political element of this story. If true, taxpayers are funding a government salary for a woman simultaneously running drugs and exploiting vulnerable migrants.
